Osteopathy and physiotherapy
at Fennick, Kendal and Ambleside

Our approach

We assess before we treat. A careful examination and an exact choice of treatment is how we reach the goal we set together on the first visit. We look at the whole person, not only the painful part, because that is what lasts. Most people are with us for four to six visits, and then they are not.

01.Physio-
therapy

Physiotherapy is about preventing and treating problems with how the body moves: getting movement back after injury, surgery or long-term pain, and building the strength that stops it happening again. All our physiotherapists are chartered.

02.Osteo-
pathy

Osteopathy is a hands-on, whole-body approach to restoring mobility and easing pain, using a wide range of manual techniques so that treatment fits the person on the table rather than the other way round. Our osteopaths are registered.

A conversation in the clinic about what happened, what hurts, and what you want back.

A thorough assessment: how you move, what is strong, what is not, and why.

Step04

Paying and insurance

We are a private clinic and you do not need a referral from your GP. Most private health insurers reimburse physiotherapy and osteopathy with us; we give you a receipt with everything they ask for and can bill some insurers directly. Ask when you book.

Appointments

By email, or through the form on the booking page. New patients are usually seen within three working days, and same-day for an acute back when we can.

[email protected]

Cancellations

If you cannot make an appointment, please tell us at least 24 hours before. Missed appointments and late cancellations may be charged in full. Thank you for understanding; the slot could have gone to someone in pain.
